Our Winter Wonderland

Hello all! I have fun pictures to share of our fun in the snow over this last week. This area usually doesn't see a lot of the white stuff, and everyone in the area is in awe of how much it has snowed here and the fact that it doesn't seem to want to stop! We are traveling with caution and trying to enjoy the beauty knowing that it will probably all melt in the next few days. I hear that the weather's been similar in much of the country and hope you are all warm, cozy, and dry wherever you live!

I also want to let everyone know that we love you with all our hearts and souls, however, we will not be sending Christmas cards this year due to the cost, stress, and time involved. With just moving a few weeks ago and the rest of our busy lives causing constant interruption, this has just become too difficult for now. I do hope to have a family newsletter together sometime in the near future and will send it out as soon as I get the chance. Please just continue to check our blog for photos and updates for the time being. Thanks for your understanding!!!

As I said, it's been snowing for days now and the girls are loving it! They have played with new friends in our neighborhood and made a snowman with daddy a couple of nights ago. Also, we had a couple of visitors a few days back. Just after it first snowed, Scotlyn saw 2 deer in our backyard. We all ran to the bedroom window and watched in wonder as the deer scoured our backyard for something to eat. They munched on the shrubs for a bit and then wandered off to their next destination. It was so beautiful! I've said it before and I'll say it again, "We LOVE it here!!!"

We are very grateful for our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and the blessings he has provided for our family. We love you all and pray that you have a safe, warm and happy holiday season! The Whitemarshes
David and the girls with "Frosty". Megan was inside the house because a dog came into the yard and scared her!
We triple-dog dared Savannah. No, she didn't get stuck! ;o)

Our beautiful new home in a winter wonderland!

Scotlyn sledding with friends in our neighborhood.

Meg tries to catch flakes on her tongue.

Beautiful Scotlyn.

Our deer friends.

The girls watch the deer out our bedroom window.

Trying out the rhody bush!

How fun! It is COLD here, but no snow. Which I don't mind too bad because the roads are nice and dry. I totally understand the Christmas card thing, because we are doing the same thing! It's actually kind of nice not having to worry about it. I might skip out next year too, but that will depend on how far along we are in getting out of debt. That is so fun that your girls can play in all of that snow! And sledding! YEAH! Merry Christmas!

The snow is probably all gone by now:) I seriously check this several times a week to see what's new! I'm not one to talk (I'm way behind) but I'm dying to hear what's up with you and your sweet little family! Lots of love!
